“Epic Pushers” successfully completed the Push Up Challenge during July

During July, a team of 14 Epic staff “Epic Pushers” successfully completed the Push Up Challenge. The Push-Up Challenge raises money to support headspace, an organisation working to strengthen the mental health and well-being of young Australians. The “Epic Pushers” team raised $1248 with the team working together to complete the required number of pushups each day. One of our team members Marghanita Johnson went above and beyond completing all of the 3128 pushups on her own and raised $893!

The Push-Up Challenge aims to raise awareness of mental health in Australia. This year, The Push-Up Challenge highlights the devastating number of Australian lives lost to suicide in 2017 – 3,128 push-ups for 3,128 lives lost to suicide. Our teams contribution will help Headspace continue to promote the importance of help-seeking, breaking down the stigma of mental ill health and making sure every young Australian knows they are not alone.
